Power Supply Stuck on Pedalboard Forever?!

I feel so dumb. Used some amazing 3m dual lock (velcro on steroids) to attach my Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+ power supply to the bottom of my new pedalboard. I regretfully put 4 strips worth of the 3m dual lock on the power supply(apparently you only need a couple small pieces to keep the power supply in place. I went with the entire bottom covered in the stuff). The pedalboard is a really nice, small Creation Music company board. It's small(17"x8") but pretty tall so you can mount a good size power supply underneath. So stupid me, I mounted it in a way that the power plugs were butted up against the inner wall of the board so I can't plug in my power cables! I literally tried for 20 minutes to pull this thing off the board so I could orient it properly and it didn't even budge. Kind of at a loss. Anyone with experience with 3m dual lock and it's mythical holding powers? Must I use a razor blade and try to cut through the actual adhesive of the strip?

Use a flat-blade screwdriver to get between the two layers and work it carefully back and forth, sideways and in. Occasionally pry up. It will eventually 'crack' and let go.

I'd go with David's flathead screwdriver method... The largest one you can find.

The problem is its such a tight space! All I can get in there is a little stubby screw driver, like the lil 3 inch guy. But then I have ZERO leverage! When I get home later I'm going to try stubby screw driver again and like a tiny block of wood for leverage. This stuff is frickin crazy strong!

You could try using a flexible plastic paint scraper with a mallet. Tap on the handle of the scraper to separate the two sections of dual-lock a little bit at a time.

Grab your favorite spatula and get to work! Dual lock can be defeated, but it won't be easy. Just gotta get something in there to start separating the stuff.

These are a much smaller version of the above.The smallest would probably work well.

I have a couple big old flat bald screwdrivers. Actually, they're the least destructive way to get dual lock to release (assuming you used enough of it to begin with).

I wouldn't pour Goo Gone over electronics...

Same here (sorry OP, though I'm not laughing at your misfortune), I've used this stuff at work...I know how impossible it can be! Once, I used too much to secure a small router to the shelf of a test rack...everything was fine until I had to remove the router and felt as though its housing would come apart and split in half before before the damn thing would unhook itself!
