I'm cranky in my old age.
Why in the world arent there more monoblock poweramps designed for Bass?

Dont give me that "there aint no market for it" either, with all the endless amounts of Bass Gear Products out there these days.

To mean a simple 800 to 1000 watt amp in a two space rack using old school technology that isnt to awful heavy would sell like hotcakes!

Me likey hotcakes too. Yum Yum.:D
Rant Over. :bassist:

I've got a Stewart 1.6 that takes up two rack spaces, weighs about 18 pounds (iirc) and bridges mono to about the power you're talking about. How would a monoblock for bass be much different? I sometimes use it to power PA equipment as well, so the PA type amps start out with 1 extra point for versatility.
