Powered speakers for the helix...EV ETX 12P?

Hello bass enthusiasts. I'm new to talkbass and this is my first thread so here it is... I'm looking at getting the Helix floor model and possibly a neutral setup to play thru. Right now I play thru a Markbass Little Mark III 800 watt Digital head with an Ampeg SVT Classic 410hlf along with an Ampeg 115 combo. I love the setup, but want to be able to utilize the fullness of the Helix while cutting down on some weight and space issues that my current rig definitely poses. Looking at FRFR speakers I haven't really found any that seem "bass worthy" especially since I play a fiver, so I was wondering about the EV ETX 12P, how it sounds pushing that low B and just general thoughts and insights anyone may be able to share. $1200 for a speaker is a lot so any kind of info is greatly appreciated.

I have not used them, but there are TB threads on the QSC K12.2 you can find. Specs suggest the ETX-12P is a little more capable and also 13lbs heavier. The QSC K(X).2 series has a setting to emulate a bass amp, so it seems they were intentionally designed to be used in the manner you suggest.

I agree with Stumbo...an HPF would likely be helpful.

Right in your price range and much lighter than the EV, 33lbs vs 52lbs.
