Practice Amp???

I bought the new Peavey Max 112 II last month from ZZounds. They had it listed as "blemished" for $185.00. So far I can not find the "blemish". I don't gig but, it is big improvement from the Fender Rumble I was using plus I could'nt beat the price.

they are both $99 practice amps with 8" speakers and low wattage. the only real difference is in the warranty. so it's really a personal choice.
i like peavey as a company. they still service and sell parts for almost every amp they have made, they are still a USA company based in mississippi and offer one of the longest warranties in the business. ampeg also has an excellent reputation and a very loyal following.

I have a nice big rig but its a major pain to move on my own so at home i practice by myself with a pod hd and some nice headphones. It's helped me a lot because you hear yourself a lot differently and all the effects on the pod will make it easier to keep practicing past the point I normally would have gotten bored. I also use the pod hd (with all the amp modeling turned off) in the effects loop on my sans amp on my big rig and for quickly recording ideas on my laptop. so I get my money out of it in multiple ways. Haven't owned a combo since my first amp which was a little peavey 112
