Practice CD Player

Has anybody used this? How did it work, and is it worth buying?

I use one all the time, its great to just pop in a CD and play along to learn tunes, etc. While its far from audiophile quality sound, it does a good enough job to practice when you can't use your amp. Be sure to get the AC adaptor, this thing will eat batteries.

This is a fantastic bit of kit. I never use my amp indoors. also you can plug in your MP3/Ipod.
Get the AC adaptor and some verry good head phones

Another great alternative is the Boss Micro BR, I just got mine, and I love it. You can load mp3's into it and it will slow them down so you can figure stuff out. It also is a recorder, drum machine, effect unit. It is a little more expensive though.
