Practise is spelled Practice.

If they are just posting to correct spelling mistakes, with nothing to ad to the subject of the thread, you are correct. However, the attitude towards the subject you portray in your first sentence is just laziness. This is part of the root of what people refer to as the "Dumbing down of America". In this case, the way you "practise" makes imperfect.

Is it just laziness? I am talking about the moments when I am in the middle of a post and then suddenly have to go.
