Preamp time.

So, i have the Geddy Lee bass. I have already changed out the pickups for Seymour Duncans. And now im looking to put in a preamp. What i want is two volumes, and a bass/treble boost/cut stack, with the ability to revert to passive. What ive looked at are the Aguilar obd2, and the Bartolini. These two are right in my price range and id like to know what the tonal differences between the two are.

See FAQ Dimento's "onbaord" preamp experiment for my take. I ran them outboard and did side by sides.

To it was splitting hairs but there was general concensus the Aggie mids were on the vintage tone side or something like that. Do a search and it's bound to come up - probably hasn't been discussed in about a year so will be an older post - and there were lots of them that mentioned as much.
