Precision Bass Neck Identification Help

Just checking with the experts here. I can’t tell what this neck was originally on. There is nothing on the back but it looks legit. I bought this rosewood precision bass neck with block inlays and binding to put on one of those squire 70’s precision bass’s. I had some work getting it to fit and the tuning peg holes were inconsistently drilled but other than that it’s great. I paid $75 and the guy said that it was from a parts bass and he didn’t know where it came from originally. Cheers!

That neck is not a Fender. It looks like a Chinese neck with a fake logo.
It may have not come attached to a bass, as these are sold alone all over the place, and sometimes even with the fake decal already there.
That said, if it plays well, rock out with it! $75 isn't a bad price for it. Especially if you like it.

I just searched in that direction and that’s definitely what it is. Thank you! It’s pretty fat and solid and feels great I’m happy.

Yeah, it's not, but . . . for 75 bucks, with keys, a good nut, and a working truss rod, if you're not fussy it's not Gen-U-Wine Fender, that's a deal. Part out even a cheap all maple neck, add the keys, and a properly set and cut nut, it adds up way past that amount, and yours is bound, rosewood, and block inlays.
