Precision fake?

I've been offered this Precision, But I HAve never seen such a logo (the "precision" font).
Someone could help?

Sure looks like an American Special to me. Like I said before, these are great basses and by far my favorite P Bass necks of any era or incarnation. I have a candy apple red one that is my go to bass. The one like you're considering is one of my favorite color/fingerboard combos. Is it rude to ask what the seller is asking for it?

This new scheme uses the letters “US” as a prefix to designate an instrument made in the United States, followed by an eight-digit number. The first two digits of the number identify the year of manufacture, (10 for 2010, 11 for 2011, etc.). The following six digits are the unit identifier, although it should be noted that these final six numbers are not sequential and do not provide any other identification information about the instrument. This new scheme is now used on the majority of U.S.-made Fender instruments, with exceptions including the American Vintage series and certain special-run instruments.

... as mentioned above, looks like stock AmSpec unless pup/electronic mods... 2011 was the year of introduction for AmSpecs, but some were made the later part of 2010 ... this one would be Olympic White over alder, with 3 ply BWB pickguard ... stock pups could be a crapshoot, as the Highway Ones which were still being made at the time were getting some random number pups as well ... earlier ONES were getting the 56003/4 set that also showed up in the Classic Series 50's P, early AmStands (pre-2000), and AmSeries (2000-'08), but some of the later ONES were getting the 61276/7 set which was used in the 'New' AmStands (mid '08) until replaced by the CS 60's in 2012 ...

... the bottom line with these 2010/2011 'non AmStand' basses with heel adjust truss rod, is if it is a gloss body finish it is an AmSpec, if it is a satin body finish, it is Hwy One ... also, Hwy Ones were never offered with a maple fretboad, AmSpecs were/are (Black and CAR) .. a tell tale sign if cant tell body finish in pics ...

The font makes it a special (more like the late 70s to 82 ish font)
The Highway One used the Late 60 to early 70s ish font with serifs
Oddly the sans serif font seems to have been used for the HW one Jazz!
