This is the original model and I've had it for ten years or so, but it's fine. It's a fully controlable stereo compressor, but it also has pre-sets for various instruments like bass guitar, acoustic guitar, lead vocals backing vocals, etc. Great for home recording, which I mostly used it for, or for live gigs.
