I live in Italy. The bass amp market is well covered by Markbass and the rest of the bass players seem to prefer the bigger international brands like Ampeg and Hartke. These smaller makers have a tough task in cracking their own market, which makes it even more difficult to expand internationally. But, from what I hear, Proamp and GRBass are making good gear, but they aren't paving any new ground that draws interest away from Markbass and the big brands. For example, TC Electronic's TonePrint technology is selling a lot of amps recently even though the build quality is inferior to Proamp and GRBass.

ProAmp makes some very phenomenal gear I my opinion. I mean Gouche the man himself has signed is name on it so that should speak volumes right?

He sounded amazing through one of their rigs at Bass Player Live! Of course, he is an amazing player and would probably sound great on almost anything.

I'd rather recoil from endorsements, but got DAMN Gauche *AND* Vega. Wow!!

Is Vega plugged into a 2x8" in that video above?! Looks like it, but sounds much bigger.

It's genius having a light 1x12" 4 Ohm combo you can pair with a light 4 Ohm cab given the combo amp runs at 2 Ohms. Plus a dedicated button for double bass; whatever that does, it's a nice nod to the doublers.

Proamp Italy - ZC112 - 300 W Ultra Light Bass Combo With 12" Speaker

The red is a bit much for me, but with specs and sounds like that I could happily live with it.
