Problem with Tube Screamer (pls help)

This is for what might be one of the most popular pedals in the history of electric guitars (and basses), the Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer. I am very surprised I haven't found anything on google about the problem I am having with mine. The Drive knob (the left one) stopped working :( I don't know if I knocked the pedal accidentally or what, but somehow the drive stopped working. I opened it and squirted a lil contact cleaner on the specific pot but that did not change anything. Since the pedal is used by so many people I am very much in hopes somebody in here might be able to share some knowledge or experience with this problem, so I can find a way to get my pedal working properly again. Forgot to say this is not for the original 70's pedal but a reissue from a lil over a decade ago.

Thanks in advance for any help or ideas!
