"Professionally burnt on purpose" misses the mark with me...

I wonder how much training a "professional" needs before attempting such a service? Do they charge much? They did get the headstock as well, so points for that, but this looks like a total fail to me (but maybe that's the idea?). Definitely looks best being gigged in a very dark club.
(FYI - bass is listed for $315, down from $350).

This bass sounds badass.neck is straight as an arrow..plays and sounds amazing!! Active,just recently set up, and yes..it looks bunt up..was professionally burnt on purpose to make it look as metal as it sounds!! Comes With hardshell case.Will consider trades.



So based on their description, it must be the "best professionally burnt on purpose bass for metal"

Professionally burnt? If you just stuck it in the oven for a while, what's the worst that could happen?

answer: see photo above.

There's a fine line between faux wear and "that looks like manure". That line was crossed here. And they kept on going, hoping it'd get better at some point. It didn't.

should have used a roasted maple neck on it...I'm just saying...
