Project bass schematic,,,help?

I'm currently working on a project bass. I have two soapbar pickups and one p-pickup. I am trying to wire this so that I have parallel/series switching for the soapbars and parallel/series switching for the p-pickups. I am also wanting to have the ability to adjust volume for the soapbars during parallel. Additionally, the p-pickups will have no volume adjustment. And there is no tone adjustment.

Can anyone help with the preliminary diagram that I have. I have already done what I thought I needed to do with mixed results and not what I was intending.

In effect you're treating the soaps and P like there two seperate circuits so just wire them that way running a hot and ground from each of the soaps and the P to the jack.

Any series/parallel diagram will work - dimarzio has one on their site. You're going to need two switches or a P switch and a push/pull switch/volume pot for the soaps. You could probably find a switch and figure out how to combine both switches into one switch but that's just complicated things unnecessarily when it can be simple.

Do the P first since it's simple and get something working right you can use then dink with soap when you're up for it.

do you have a pick of the bass ..
you are only having two pots ? thats all you have in your pic

I take it your pbass pickup has 4 wires .. and you are doing the para series individually for that ..

the soap bars I take it they probably only have two wires ?
so you are then doing the para series as in the two pickups togeather will either be wired series or para ?

if you are only having two pots and you don't want individual vao for the soaps you could just have two push pull pots

if your soaps are 4 wire you could do each pickup with para series ..

what kinda pickups are they ?
and what kinda bass ..

Yes you have the idea of what I'm trying to do. My diagram shows what I already have. However, I want to be able to adjust volume on the two soapbars when they are in parallel. If I'm not able get someone's direction on how to make this happen then I will just go as you say with a DPDT for each "pair of pickups" and wire them to the jack. However, I would really like to get the volume pots going in the circuit.

What I'm hoping is someone will draw the lines on the diagram I have so I can check the existing wiring I have against it. Maybe it's just one thing wrong, but I don't know.

Yes this is a standard precision knockoff that I'm working on. As in the diagram, each pickup only has two wires. I already have other basses that I've successfully done with JPJ, PPJ, and PJJ, but none with volume pots. This is the confusing part, since this is a new design for me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Take any passive diagram with two volume pots wired consecutively (again the DM site has it - just chop off the top pot and run hot/ground to jack), throw an s/p switch in before the first volume (by the way the only wire on your s/p switches are wrong - that jumper doesn't go there for s/p and again DM has wiring for it); run your 4 leads off the P into an s/p switch (same DM diagram) then run hot/ground off the switch to jack.

That's it.
