I have far more project basses then free time. First up is a plywood no name bass with a serious punch through the upper treble bout. Currently has its back off and has a homemade C extension. Piecing together the punch through had been my first thought, but that now seem like too much work and would still be rather ugly, replacing the whole bout would look and function better with less labor. No bridge, saddle or soundpost.
