Proper effect order

What would be proper effect order for optimum bass tone

I have reverb but that is being run through a send and return loop on my bass head...

There is no "proper" arrangement, but things like octavers should be clost to the start, as they need a clean signal. otherwise, try them every which way and see what works best for you. Honest.

Ther's tons of threads like this... There is no proper order, experiment!
Normaly though you would see something like this:
Eq>Octaver>Wha>Chorus>Delay>Noise Reduction with the Fuzz before the Wha or behind the Chorus or in between.

I'd go Decimator, Delay, Boost, Chorus, Fuzz, Octave, EQ, Wah.

but not actually

The only thing I'd set in stone is that noise reduction goes before delay so it doesn't chop the trials off.

Experiment!!!!!

I'd start with this:

- ISP technologies DECIMATOR noise reduction (though I'm not a fan of gates)
- Mxr boost line driver (though you may not need this with the EQ)
- mxr octave
- Dunlop 105q bass wah
- tweak fuzz (I had a tough time getting a decent sound out of this)
- mxr 10 band Eq (I put it here to try to massage a better tone out of the Fuzz, but it may work better before it)
- Mxr chorus
- mxr delay

wait, decimator first? wouldn't you at least want that after the fuzz so that it's gating the floor noise from that?
