Porn stars get paid to have sex, why can't prostitutes?
I mean, aren't house wifes just glorified prostitutes? They work for room and board!

I do things with my body for money, they just don;t involve my genitals...
It seems unfair to me that prostitution is illegal....what do you think?

*and no, I have never been to a prostitute? I am not yet ugly enough to need to pay.

The difference is due to getting paid to be an actor, and getting paid for a service.

The morals of this country won't allow the gov't to tax and regulate the prostitution industry. Thus making it illegal. I don't want to get on a politics rant either.

However on the other hand how much money in taxes do you think gets pulled in from DVD, magazine sales etc in the adult industry?

The difference between a prostitute and a porn star lies only in the camera. All you have to do is take pictures for a "private collection" and it's legal. Search craigslist and i'm sure you'll find lots of people advertising for exactly that.

No, this is something two people do because they love and agree to take care and support each other. Love being defined as extending yourself for the spiritual growth of yourself and anothers spiritual growth.
Do not confuse sex and love.

In America we need to have authorities and moralists to be in our business and to tell us what to do and think.
Otherwise there would be terrible consequences - like freedom!

Porn is a tool used to keep women's power in check.
I realize most prostitutes take on the profession because they come from a background of poverty and lack of a good education. However they provide a service and whatever two consenting adults do in private is their own business, as long as it doesn't effect any one else.

I have never paid for sex.

First bolded entry - I agree, basing a country on a religion not everyone shares doesn't make sense.

Second bolded entry - :eyebrow: Keep womens power in check :eyebrow: Most prostitutes have a history of abuse, moreso than a lack of education or being poverish. That's why the can easily fall under the power and abuse of a pimp type figure. Some call girls are actually highly educated and found that making $4000 a night is easlier than $2,500 a month at a day job.

Third bolded entry - You should, you have to much steam built up.
