the mere mention of sex seems to bring out the worst of people on this forum.

Very true, won't be long before all talk of the 'S' word is banned...

If two people are happy in a relationship, who are you to judge them? The wife may sit at home, shop and spend the husbands hard earned money all day, but if they both approve of it, who are we to judge?
A man may sit at home buying car or bass(had to throw it in there) equipment and jack up the cable bill watching Pay Per View sports and porn spending the wifes hard earned cash, but if they both approve of it, who the hell are we to disapprove?

i disagee. porn is just a dramatization of people having sex, and while modern pornography is getting pretty weird (imo) it is still just, in a manner of speaking, and art form. if nothing else, i believe it is an excellent sexual aide (alone and for couples) and a great way to express sexual feelings without involving another person in those very intense feelings/emotions.

i think a lot of women feel threatened by porn because they feel like it replaces them, or creates an unreal standard. I can tell you that no depiction of anything, no matter how hot i find it, will ever replace interaction with a real woman. also, most girls are really, really hot, and don't know it. you dont need a huge rack to be hot. Maybe just a really nice butt

on the other hand (and it is a completely different hand [no pun intended]) i think that prostitution is pretty much degrading to all people, regardless of consent of anyone involved. any person who is willing to pay for sex has put intercourse above the actual act of "lovemaking" (love not being necessary but some kind of interpersonal compatibility must happen for even bar hookups) and a person who is willing to be paid for sex has devalued sex to themselves enough to be able to exchange cash for it. While poverty (and frequently drug addiction) are largely playing factors, most people who get involved do so because of the people they are around, not the quick cash fix.
