Bought used, the singlecut came modded with Gibson PAF style (I believe they're DiMarzio Tone Zones). I replaced the bridge pickup in the Santana with a Seymour Duncan SH-10. Great guitars! I can only think that the SE basses will be similar in quality.
I have. Quite some time ago I also tried one.Have you seen their Grainger line of basses?
Yeah, they're up there in price. I have played one. Not long enough though. I wanna really sit down with one and go through it.I have. Quite some time ago I also tried one.
Those have a lot more of that 'PRS ness'.
I find them much too expensive though.![]()
PRS does make basses that look like that.Meh.... Why can't they look like this???View attachment 437801
Nothing wrong with picky! Especially when paying top dollar.Yeah, that is true. The body of that one is a little weird. Too rounded at the bottom.. As you can see I'm super picky![]()
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]Has PRS cleared the Kestrel name with Manson Guitar Works? Isn't that a model name Manson used on a bass, one that John Paul Jones uses? One that is now called the Manson E Bass John Paul Jones Signature?
Hmmm... Maybe PRS bought the name? :-/Not anymore, but I clearly recall the Kestrel name from a BP interview years ago with JPJ.
