Psycological disorder club

Kanner's Syndrome (aka hi-functioning autism), dysgraphia, OCD, ADHD, depression, Sensory Integration Disorder (see autism), and I want to be a musician (which isn't isn't classifies as mental illness, but should be.)

I take fluvoximine and I'm supposed to be taking Ritalin, but I don't because it makes the OCD worse.

I am actually scared to go get diagnosed. I have no focus or attention span to the point it affects my day to day activities. I have been told I have the attention span of toaster but I can remember things like long strings of numbers from 20 years ago and have a photographic memory. I also score VERY highly (140+) on standard IQ tests but can't stay awake from boredom in conventional learning environments. I also pick up on ANYTHING new at a scarily easy pace just by watching and not doing (it freaks my wife out).

I refuse to go the doctor until I have to, I found I can control it to a point with a low sugar and low carb diet and as "bad" as it may sound, after 1 beer or a glass of wine (please read ONE) my focus settles down to a normal level so I know I should be on some kind of medication :hmm:

I also have almost ZERO empathy for people outside of my own four walls of my home.

I just hate doctors.
