In my DJ days 40 years ago this song filled the dancefloor much faster than any disco hit.

I bought this compilation at Wax Trax! records on Lincoln after slipping past the Bomber Boys (Nazi skinheads), who hung around the block, in the mid-'80s. This was a score....I played the record a gigajillion times in high school in the '80s.

I was working on some yard work yesterday and my iPod shuffled to some song that I couldn't place and when I checked, it was Bloodsport. It's so different and interesting. I feel like they could have been bigger.

Also: the only show I have ever walked out of for being too loud was the Didjits. I guess that was before I wore earplugs to shows, though.

Here's Fast Rotten, an unknown and forgotten band from a long dead punk rock scene, a place where I was born musically.
