I always get a kick out of names like Chibson, Rickenfaker, and others that refer to cloned versions of iconic basses. Some of them can be really clever. Is there a master list somewhere?

I'd love to hear more examples, whether real and imagined.

Let me add a couple of new ones to the list off the top of my head: Fraudulus. Fibanez.

The two best (worst?) I've seen were a "Gibsun" and "Fencler". Both used carbon copy logos, and looked very close to the real thing. The Gibsun had only a small piece missing at the top of the "O", making it a "U". The Fencler from a distance looked like the "cl" was a "d", but you could tell up close.

ugh imagine ordering one mistakenly and waiting patiently for your "great deal" to arrive!

A lot of the TDPRI crowd used to be fond of "Ferden" logos.
