You're correct. Tokai does/did make that model. I've forgotten all about that when I named my bass.I thought Tokai also made a Rebelrocker. Sorry I mistook yours for one.

I paid over the odds for a Soviet-era Russian made bass that was supposedly a genuine Lawsuit copy, Ivansez.
I did a search and was not able to find any blank Rickenbacker truss rod covers. I'd be willing to bet you could do it with a 3D printer.
I made my own using a piece of white plastic and printed the logo on a water slide decal sheet, available at a model shop.
I do know a guy with a 3D printer. I'm gonna have to make this dream become reality

I had spent hours researching and A/B-ing this against genuine Rickenbacker plexi TRC
(including one that I have in my possession) and I honestly cannot tell a single difference.
I encourage you to try the same if you are trying to decide...

The story you're about to hear is true. The names and places have been changed to protect the innocent.
When I worked retail back in the day, the rep for a wholesaler that was handling a lot of Japanese product (this is the 80's) brought in a stunning Fender Strat reproduction from the Far East, a pro level axe far above the bottom feeders in their offerings. Weight, neck, tone (loaded with three of those double blade humbuckers in the standard Strat size shells), just a first-class guitar they were showing for feedback from dealers. Would have sold in the price range of the 'real' ones.
Impressed. Then with a truly wicked gleam in his eye, he remarked that we should double check the decal. So right there, in perfect counterfeit splendor, was an ALMOST dead-on decal, save for one small change: In perfect, 'spaghetti' style black and gold script, it . . . . . read . . . . . 'F**ker'.
We all died laughing. The beauty of it was unless you made a point to read it, you sort of unconsciously just blew by it, I mean, how many of the real ones have you seen before. Just nuts !
He did allow he probably WASN'T taking it to NAMM . . . . .

LOL - my first bass was/IS an Epic Accu-bass! Seriously, mine plays and sounds way above its price point. Truly, it ain't bad!

HAHAHA, I did a gig years and years ago opening act for an "up and coming" band. The bass player and I met before to go over the rig/sound. He had a fake Ampeg 810 cabinet he put on stage beside a traynor 215...I laughed when he showed me that is where he kept his clothes......
Honestly, having a fake rig as a case to bring everything in and then use as a front sounds kind of awesome.
