Purple Fender?

So I've never seen a purple/violet color fender bass before. Are there any out there? I would be very interested in one

I've seen a MIM Jazz in a very deep blue that some might call purple- might've seen some kind of Jazz in a genuine purple, not sure... are you looking to get one? I think you can post in *wanted- basses* w/o being a supporting member.

What kind of finish were you after? as in one like there candy red or a matte like purple or something else?

I've seen older (90's era) Squier P's, J's, as well as Strats in fugly purple, but no MIM's or MIA's. That doesn't mean they don't exist, and there is always the option of refinishing one.

I've got an MIA Fretless P in the "Metallic Purple", don't remember what the actual name for the finish is.

The color is Sparkle Purple.

I am fairly sure it was simply purple metallic. Or metallic purple.
One of those.
I would love to have one, a P-bass with a metallic purple finish, black PG, maple board, and gold hardware.

Here's me with mine. 99 MIA standard purple metallic. I think its been also described as "Plum Crazy."

Im pretty sure theres a purpe metallic as I remember buying one from MF (they had some sort of clearance back in 2000 if I recall , the am st for 599).

The Fender Stu Hamm Urge II in Bright Sapphire Metallic (now discontinued) was a beautiful purple color. I owned one for about a year, and after shimming the rubber-band neck several times & dealing with faulty electronics, I sold it. Great color though...

When I last tried to sell my P everyone told me it's not truly purple, just deep blue. It's still purple in my book, but I haven't tried as hard to sell it lately . . .
