PYPB 41 - Fred The Goldfish

I may consider this actually now that I think about it. It's more inexpensive than a corona chorus. Hmmmm. Are the modulation effects on it pretty authentic sounding though? I've only had one multi processor before and it left a very bad taste in my mouth. I'm sure they've come a long way since though, that was over ten years ago.

Man, I haaate multieffects units. I'm all analog all the time...til now. The MS-60b is surprisingly organic, none of that synthetic sounding amp modeling, and a lot of their effects sound better to me than the originals. I'm not a filter guy, but I find myself using them more and more, simply because they are all very well done and can be combined in interesting ways.

Sweet, I think I'm sold on it. I'm just waiting for a few bucks to roll in from pedals I'm selling and I'm pretty sure I'm going to pull the trigger on that zoom. Seems like an awesome addition to any board. Especially for all that I can do and the price tag.

lol. you'd be surprised. some effects i thought were analog were actually digital.

not talking poo to you at all, but the whole Analog vs Digital descends into cork sniffery sometimes. digital efx are really good in a lot of milieus.

lol. just not dirt. i've yet to hear an od/dirt/fuzz that sounded anything like an analog. or good at all really.

+1

It really depends on the quality of the AD/DA conversion. We should all judge effects with our ears not by weather or not they are analogue. But yeah digital dirt sucks.

Nobody posts pedalboards anymore?

Been loving this for a couple of bands that mostly do covers, one of which also plays in an acoustic trio format. The Q-Tron+ sweeps down, the AW-3 sweeps up. It's been more fun than it really should be. The Micro Amp is a great clean boost, almost completely transparent, and the small difference it makes it pleasant enough.

The power management is the only pain as the Q-Tron needs its own wall-wart- the size of the input won't accept my charge pump, which is standard Boss size, or I could run them all off of my OneSpot.

Current plan: replace Q-Tron and AW-3 with a Subterranean, a Xero Dlx, and a Zoom MS-60B all before the MicroAmp.

I have that zoom comin by weeks end. :hyper: I've been wanting one of those micro amps too, they look sweet.

I need a better tremolo.

This is my dream board. It sounds so awesome and suits my needs. It works as my guitar rig as well. I don't have to adjust anything.

You're not the only one. I have the a behringer trem too. It's the other one though. I just picked up a boost pedal to help it a little. It works great, it's just that the volume drop is way too drastic. I also have a fuzzrocious tremorslo and that one really pushes volume big time. I need to get the volume mod done. The only thing that I wish it would do is machine gun stutter. I drops sort of short of that. But overall, killer trem.
