Hololololy crap that is an awesome board. I had to look up the Death Ray and I really want one now. 350 quid is a teensy bit out of budget, though.

Normally I wouldn't have done it either but was looking for a FayeSing, and found the used Death Ray for less than a new one would have been (and I couldn't find one used) so I took a chance.... LOVE IT! I think it was in the 2-225 range IIRC.

Bummed, :crying:gotta take the big board to both gigs today after putting together a mini board with the Lo|Fat and Zoom B2.1u wuz gonna rock it simple. Found out both bands are down a gtr player and gonna go power trio.
More to carry but more sonic space for me to work with. :hyper:

I knew I would step in it with the hate effects thing, ha ha

I have some serious playing around with this thing. The Autowah out of the box is unusable, Extreme peaks of volume on certain notes.

I tried that too ... it would work for much of what we play but I decided the pedalboard looks a bit too empty. :)

(I do use it as an only effect pedal for practicing at home though, and I'm considering putting it on my main board for the tremolo and reverb effects that I might have some use for)

Just stick some goggly head dolls on there and you're good to go then.

i mean, i could care less if you like efx or not. i've heard people just SLAY with nothing or just an OD.

just.... saying i hate efx non-ironically in the efx forums? sounds a bit douchey.

Here's what I'm working with now. Had a much more complicated thing going that I never posted with a fuzz after the synth wah, and a Frantabit, phaser, tc ditto and ps-5 after the BEF Pro. I'm playing primarily synth and keys in my new band so I moved those 4 onto a tabletop board for my keyboard along with my Akai MPX8 that was also on my board. I'm still gonna bring this board to play additional bass, guitar and my upcoming Bass VI when it's needed. Just got the whammy for 50 bucks and that inspired me to move the other stuff off the floor.

Built the board myself. Still a work in progress. Need to make a few cables still. I'm happy with it. Not pictured is my Fridgebuzzz - Land of the Rising Fuzz pedal.

Haha is that Jon from Delocated? What does it do!? I hope it makes your bass sound like his voice in the show. Haha

I have gone through a lot of pedals but ended up completely satisfied with just this Nano board powered by a One Spot. I kind of miss having a Phaser but this board is so easy to schlep around:

Compressor before filter? I tried it but it didn't work for me, moved the compressor after the filter to get more effect. I guess you can always bypass the compressor when using the filter though if there is not enough dynamics.

This is from this morning. I am cleaning house with some of the dirt on the board, it really is overkill. Seriously considering moving the Demon, VMT, and TFR. The B7K, Eau Claire Thunder, and soon arriving SA OFD will be more than enough. Having the Jamup app running the Orange AD 200 is really great. My entire rig is on the board now. No amp, no cab.
