Oh, Source Audio....<3<3<3...

I think this will be staying this way for a good while. Trying to justify a Manta but....yeah I'll probably end up getting a Manta this month...

Hey, what order do you put the OFD, Orbital, and Reverb in? I have the OFD and will be receiving the Manta and Orbital next week hopefully and I am wondering what order I should put them in. I have never really used a good envelope so my plan is to experiment but I am wondering how others are using these pedals.

My chain is
Ernie Ball VP Jr
Boss TU-2
Darkglass B3k
MXR 6 Band
Source Audio OFD
Boss LS-2 w/
(Fuzzrocious Rat Tail w/2nd Distortion Mod)
Amptweaker Tight Fuzz
Zoom B3
Red Panda Particle
Source Audio Orbital
Source Audio Dimension Reverb

Ok, so, once I get them, I will have my whole chain as usual, then, I'll put the OFD > Manta > Orbital > Nimbus, then whatever I usually keep on the back end of things. I can't wait. If I like the Manta and Orbital half as much as I like the OFD so far, they will stay on my board for a long time.

NS, forgive me for not remembering, but do you have the dual expression? If so, I loved using the expression pedal to control the reverb decay. Toe down was near infinite reverb, toe up was only dry signal. It is a blast to play with the reverb time while messing with filters.

Unfortunately, I do not have the dual expression yet but I think it may be my next pedal purchase after I get all my SA pedals in.

I just had a bit of a pedal GAS attack in January and ordered the three SA pedals so I am trying to control myself a bit since I also want to get a CAB soon.

But, yeah, after the CAB and the expression pedal, I almost want to give the SA reverb a try to see how it matches up against the Nimbus.

Man I wish I went with the Expression Pedal before the Hot Hand, especially since it'll be a minute before I get a Manta.

That Hub is enticing as well...gah.

I have an HH3 as well and while its a lot of fun, I don't need it for my gig whereas I have a lot more use for the expression pedal.

Oh dude, it's the trifecta!! Sweet setup. I'm GAS'n for all of those SA pedals right now. Have an orbital on the way :) hopefully have a manta sooner than later and a dual expression.

I have the reverb and the multiwave that I keep on a PT mini at home, but for my band I've narrowed it down to just this.

what size board is that? I think i may have a very similar setup in the near future...

Its a PT Jr. I have a PT2 that I was using, but its just bigger than I want to take to gigs and these 4 pedals are pefect for what I do.

The bypass looper is really key to making it work for me keeping it on this size of a board. I often use just a drive sound of some sort for the majority of a song and like to bring in modulation for a bridge or chorus. Instead of setting up two scenes, one with modulation and one without and switch between them, its much easier for me to just bypass the Orbital via the looper and bring it in when needed.

Now with a more advanced midi controller you could work and easier way to do that, but it'd be almost impossible for me to fit it all on a PT Jr like this.

Great, thanks for the infomation. I havent used midi at all yet, but Im intrigued by the idea of setting up scenes with the SA gear. It seems like you have a very flexible set up.

Smallequestrian, any thoughts on what would be a good simple midi controller? You are liking the Gecko? How does it compare to a Mouse? Any other suggestions? I am starting to think that midi controller makers are going to wake up in a couple of weeks wondering why all heir dealers are ordering so much all of a sudden :)
