Jean's music sounds exactly how his board looks.
I just watched his video "Dhalsim" and....
just speechless :D

what I can describe is.. just like 'very analogue' bass synth, wobble, and dubstep :p
I have interest to that kind of music, but not really :hiding:

very nice bass btw :hyper:

I'm going to mod the ODB-3 soon, if that doesn't change my mind about it, that's going soon. Also waiting on my new DigiTech Bass Whammy, whenever that might ship.

Signal goes from the bass to the tuner then up to some noise devices on a table then back to the Whammy. From there its Low Drive (always on)-Rat Tail- NS2 with the Grey Stache in its loop-VP Jr-RV3 on mode 4- Digitech Digiverb. The silver thing under the Digiverb is a channel selector i made that activates the graphic EQ on my amp. I hit it at the same time as the Digiverb to compensate its volume drop and to give a bit of mid boost to make my verb crashes come through.

gnarly.

How do you like it compared to a Rat King?

I definitely want to know as well.

I love my Rat King, but... I got the RK because it was a good deal on the classifieds. And, I discovered that it did great low gain as well as high gain balls out distortion. The things is, now, I have so many other pedals that do good low gain that I would like to downsize the RK to fit more stuff on my board (I know, that sounds crazy). So, since I am mostly after balls out high gain RAT sounds now, I am looking at the Blower Box, a Small enclosure Rat Tail, an Acid Pig, or an Iron Pig. So far, I am leaning toward the Acid Pig because of size. However, that blower box price!!!!!

These are my thoughts exactly. If the Blower Box can sound as good as my RK i would then be able to fit a xerograph deluxe on my board. Which would be my first endeavor into envelope filters.

It does without a doubt. And IMO, it's even better with retaining low end. It's awesome! If you guys are curious, get it. You will not be disappointed. That's my feeling anyway. Plus the sag in it actually sounds like a tube amp to my ears. Plus it just looks so cool.

Mostly I want to get my Weeping Demon and XD-1 also. And the Badger.Possibly the flanger. Haven't decided on a final dim but probably 32"x ?. I have the materials but just have to map out the pedals first.

I'd go about 32x17 or 18 if I was you. I measured mine to about that. It's pretty much a PT pro size. It's pretty ideal. Not too big too be a hassle, most times, and big enough to fit everything I could possibly want/need.

Dammit just when I thought my GAS was over! $119! Can't beat that with a stick!

Hmmmmm, here is my conundrum. The Blower Box would free up some space for a small pedal. However, the Acid Pig would free up enough to fit the Fairfield Delay when it comes out...
