How do you like the Hoof Reaper? I have almost pulled the trigger on it a couples times but chickened out.

I really dig it. I don't necessarily use the Reaper side by itself, but it brings out awesome harmonic content with an overdrive. The octave sounds great, for a no controls effect you couldn't ask for better. The Hoof sounds awesome of course, and all three play with each other really well.
I've thought about trading it and trying something else, but I honestly can't bring myself to do it. There's a ton of sounds in that box.

Hey guys, a quick question. At present I am having issues powering everything that I'd like to have on my board (a PT2). I use a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+, so I am currently only able to power 8 pedals. I'd like to use 2-3 more pedals on my board. Does anyone out there have a cost-effective solution?

Daisy chain them through one of the power supply inputs. My fuel tank Jr powers 10 pedals no problem.

You could still daisy a couple to a few out of one outlet. Find out if you can run any at 18 or 12v. Of course be absolutely sure you can before you plug them into those outlets. You should have at least a couple you can run out of one outlet. I'm not sure what each outlet can put out though either. I'd suggest trying a 1spot kit. It has an 8 outlet daisy chain and is only $40. You should be more than fine with a PP2 and 1spot to power 10+ pedals with little to no noise.

Take a look at the Decibel 11 HotStone Deluxe. Similar to the PP2+, but more power! The 400ma outputs reportedly power the Eventides no problem...

If you want to be completely isolated, you should think of adding a PP 4X4. That would give you more outlets and some that have high ma ratings. But, you could also just ad a one spot or a powerall and power a bunch of 9v pedals, even some with higher consumption ratings.

If you want to be fully isolated, beware of some models that have a lot of ports but a smaller amount of "isolated sections". You might be buying a power supply with like 10 ports but only 8 isolated ones.

JF, I went through the same power craziness with my board. It's almost done and ready for sharing.

I ended up waiting for another PP2+, so now I have two. It sucked thinking about throwing that cash on something as lame and redundant as a power supply, but holy moly I'm happy I did. Every pedal with it's own supply, and three spare. Never ever do I worry about power. I also use the two accessory outlets to power my hungrier pedals.

It really was worth another $120. Just my $.02!

... the Wampler Euphoria has been replaced by the Cusack Screamer Bass in the Wonderlove loop,
and the Solid Gold FX Beta is new on the board.

I just got a Subdecay Vitruvian Mod ring modulator which is a really cool pedal, I just don't know where to put it
or if I ever will have any use for it. It does make for some really cool synth sounds in the filter loop though,
so I just may have to rebuild the whole thing to somehow get that on the board. Tetris FTW.

Thank you kindly! It's efficient use of space but my resolution to not go bigger is weakening, I get terrible decision anxiety over what to remove when I get a new pedal.

I agree, great board!! I'd be nice to get down that small, but then I'd have the same problem frets having, I'd fret about fitting everything I wanted. And just by a pedal or two. That would stress me too! Haha
