I've been out of the loop for a while on here. I figured it was time for an update. I've got a Super Symmetry on order. The space at the bottom is for a GigRig bypass looper.

Well, that's a CRAZY awesome board right there!
That pedal is great. It is only a switch with a light. You can feed your signal though it, but, it doesn't do ANYTHING. It makes for a constant joke in practice. If someone is sucking, you turn on the talent booster. All band members are free to turn it on. Occasionally Ill look up and the light is on. It's like "Oh, crap...Is it me that sucks?!"
Seriously, after the gig we had last night I definitely need one on my board (of course not for me LoL). I wonder if they make talent booster cymbals?

All things considered, I decided to try out the Zvex Loop Gate again. I am really glad that I did. Not only do I decrease my signal chain, but in a the click of a button I can go from a pure tone to something ethereally wondrous!
The current chain is as follows:
Bass (Lately either my Rickenbacker 4003 or Lakland Skyline 55-01)

Empress Compressor
Zvex Loop Gate (Loop = One Control Hooker's Green and EQD Afterneath)

just a couple of pics of my bands demo recordings the other day. One of my pedal board and then one where you can see our guitarist/keyboardist board.
Here's what my board currently looks like
Actually... I have! I have a "home board" and a "gig board" which each have a PS-3, but sometimes I will toss combinations of the two together. I also have an EV-5 expression pedal for maximum whale-organ 'tone'.
Mode 11 is something I've never found a use for. I wish I could figure out something for it.
I do two things with it...
- 100% effect / pitch 1 @ 12 noon (unchanged from direct) / pitch 2 @ + or -1 octave
This is basically a Whammy. Expression (heel down) moves from your normal pitch, shifting through to (toe down) the Pitch 2 setting.
- 50% direct+effect / pitch 1 @ a 3rd up from the direct note / pitch 2 @ a 5th or a 7th up.
This is a harmonizing note, which you can shift with your foot.
I keep trying to get rid of mine, but every time I play it "one last time" and get some awesome new sound out of it. So versatile for a big muff.

The only thing that would make that board more hardcore would be a picture of Chuck Norris' beard.
What is that funky looking pedal without any switches or knobs under the Sputnik? looks like some sort of screen for a midi controller..
