PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

I posted in here a while back when I was running a PT Jr with a bunch of stuff I wasn't really using. I got tired of lugging it around (with its anvil case) and went through a short phase with a couple of iterations of a pt nano, but that wasn't as fun. Now I have a metro 24 and I *think* this is the right size. Also I just bought the Octabvre this morning and it's just amazing, especially into the cloven hoof. I'm pretty stoked with this setup...at least for now haha.

I posted last night how i got the gray stache yesterday, well i got the mxr comp today!!!
I might have a deal worked out for an overdrive that i'll know for sure about on Tuesday and then no more for at least a month!!!!

New revision to my board added the Hardwire CM2 Tube Overdrive, finally really happy with my 3 drive pedals.

The xp boost is really perking things up and the AY2 in probably going 2b bumped for the Zoom MS100Bt.

The Hardwire CM2 has a nice almost singing overdrive with plenty of lows and gets a nice controlled feedback. Between my other drives, Austone Fuzz Nutz TexTone and the BDPG, going into the Akai UniBass pretty much has me covered except for the odd tune where the BassBalls Fuzz does the trick.

I really love the CM-2. It's super dynamic and colors your tone in a really pleasing way. Cool to see a UniBass out in the wild. I had onea while back... How do you use it?

I use it sometimes for solos, playing melodies and adding harmony during parts of guitar solos. I use the octave up and the added fifth up. I do not use the overdrive but have a drives before. I try to not use it too much and also use the pitch shifters on my Zoom pedals to get a more 8 string sound as well as a different solo sound. Lately i have been using the 2 octave up to get a "flute" sound.

The distortion on that thing is gross. It never really did it for

I love the fifth up sound but the distortion is just plain bad. I definitely enjoyed it though.

The B3 has improved sounds and more controllable parameters but you are limited to 3 effects at a time. The B2 B2.1u will allow up to 7 effects at a time, but at a lesser quality, some of my creations use multiple modules especially for synth sounds and when using pitch shifting and octaver. in order to recreate some sounds used a lot i would need 2 B3 or a B3 and MS60B, which is exactly what I am doing in a new project in sound design music composing phase.
