It's a boatload of fun. The sounds you can get out of it are fascinating, and this thread was the first time I've ever seen anything on the Dr. Scientist pedal...I may have to get one as well...Is it weird that this makes me want the Particle more?

I love this freaking thread. 
I can't follow that Breeder thread. I love ya'll and everything, but that thread is just overwhelming.
But this thread is full of pretty pictures. I like pretty pictures. Sometimes I just sit staring at a particular board, literally mesmerized. The mix-and-match nature of board building makes every board pretty much unique; a reflection of the owner's musical goals and personality. I just love that.

Just sucky the power input for the v8 tone fuzz is one the side and not the top... Would make it much easier to squish in the top row with flatter cables... Getting a whole bunch of tight rope cables which should free up a bit more room!
I recently purchased a few updated flat EBS patch cables and truly like them. For quite a while, I have used some custom Switchcraft Lava 229 connectors, with larger Lava cables....but I think I like the flexibility of the the flat EBS cables......still trying to decide.
I've used the EBS flat patch cables for quite a while, and I don't plan to change. What impresses me more about them is how easy it was to convert my guitarist to start using the EBS cables, as he's a lot more fussy than me when it comes to gear. ..and they seem to hold up better than the pancake connector cables he used to custom make for himself.
It's rad, I mainly use it for oscillations and noise, but it's also a really solid delay in general.
I second the Echo Shifter, It's pretty cool once you start dialing in sounds.
I'm almost set on the pedals to use with the Funk-Jazz/Fusion group I'm playing with. The Octabvre is brand new, and I've only used it during one rehearsal. It has replaced the Octamizer, and I think it will be a keeper. If the Octabvre doesn't work, I will change back to the Octamizer, which was really good as well.
Also, today I added the Micro Red Dragon mk II as a solo boost pedal, and it worked like a charm. I've had some issues finding a good pedal for solo spots, but I think that today I just did!
It feels very good to be satisfied with my sound(s)! I can truly recommend any of these pedals to anyone. Great stuff!
Now I just need to get a longer board.

I haven't posted my board for a while... I sold off a few core pedals and have been in slow replacement mode. I'm back up to a nearly full board (by my standards), so time for a pic.
