I'd love to see you produce C4 tones with your fingersI was the "to hell with effects, my fingers will produce any kind of tones I'd need" guy...until one year ago.
That's me now:

Threw together two quick and hasty demos, but it's better than nothing. I kick in both phasers with the settings I typically use on them. The Lillian is in 4-stage mode to start. When you hear a little more jet/flanger-ish throaty woosh happening, that's the 6-stage mode on the Lillian. For both I'm just doing some slow knob twiddling with the depth, feedback, etc. Each one is mostly clean bass going in, then you hear the MBD-2 kick in for some light OD, and then I switch to a SUF Civil Unrest for the fuzz sounds at the end.
I've been tossing up the GO vs MXR phase 95 vs Ross phaser. I have a SGFX Apollo II and Subdecay Quasar for fancy sounds am but looking for something simpler for my dirt board, chewy enough for a funky slow deep phase clean as well as with dirt. I have a phase 95 on the way but have been on the fence about the GO as I've read that it's a bit more subtle/dark. Sounds great here with the CU!

I swapped out my Proton v2 for a v3. Maybe it's just me, but it seems less subtle than v2 and reacts to my bass a lot better. I also got a Saturnworks volume looper for the B:ASSMASTER. Now that it essentially gives the pedal a volume knob it makes it that much more awesome.
And with that, I'm officially out of room... Unless I turn the VTBDI sideways, then maybe I can get another nano pedal of some sort.. Or take it off the board and sit it on my amp. Hmmm... But what do I really need that I don't already have? Feel free to be a bad influence and make suggestions lol
BTW, I think I'm a Barefoot Button addict..

Someone school me on Broughton please.
one-man Canadian company with a lot of business on Talkbass who releases in limited batches. has a die-hard fanbase. often hard to get ahold of because they sell out so quickly, and then used ones are snatched up equally fast, but people who get them swear by their quality.Someone school me on Broughton please.
V3 is based on the chromatron, v2 is not.
Someone school me on Broughton please.
View attachment 3847392 Put together a new board with some new pedals and some existing ones...
Anyone have a v7 green Russian Muff on their board?
Anyone rehouse it into a smaller enclosure?
What's your fav "clone"? I've never found one that sounds better than a tall or bubble font.
Maybe there's something new I haven't seen.
Show me whatcha got!
