Really like your board, one of the best looking boards i've seen! Like that you have a bluebox. What kind of sound do you get from it? i was wondering, because it depents a lot on the rest of you setup (bas, amp, ...) what it sounds like. i've been wanting to get one for a long time, don't know why i havent pulled the trigger yet... :-)

Also, where did you get the board/case?

hey gregmon (or anyone else who can help!), just scored a ocd v4. got it in trade straight up, this is why i didn't try the joyo ult drive. do you run yours in 9v or 18v? is there a way to run at 18v with the one spot? what's the effect, more headroom?

i plan on using it as a mild overdrive. drive low, volume up, just need a little grit. do y'all like the lp or hp mode?

ok, done rambling.....(for now.)

I don't own an OCD but yes, 18v would be more headroom/clarity. You can do it with a one spot with the godlyke power pump. Some good discussion of it here:

If you just need a little grit, I'm not sure the extra cost/effort would offer much benefit in return.

I love when other bands walk by and say holy crap, that guitar player uses a lot of effects. I then smile and say, no that's my pedal board...:bassist: cracks me up every time.

There other bass player then tries in vain to identify said effects, lol. I send me here for advice

hey vlad, have you or any of you other guys let a friend play your rig, then sat back and laughed as they couldn't turn it on? it seems to me loops and pedal setup are such a matter of personal preference or personal need. it happened to me a couple weeks ago and gave me a laugh, and i only have a pedal tuner (mute) and one loop in a ls2!

I usually just unplug the whole board and tell them it's not worth deciphering. I'm always right. Anyone who has used my board, close friends and band mates included are usually completely dumbfounded by the H9 alone.
