Good idea! You got any more cool/useful CV tips and tricks to share? :bassist:

You can get an octave up out of the ring mod by splitting your signal and sending one to the input and the other to the carrier in.

Use the env out and lag processor to send to any lfo to make it a dynamic speed with ramp up and down times.

Again, the lag processor can be used with the env to make volume swell sounds with the lpf, just turn resonance to 0 and cut off to 0, send the lag out to attenuator, invert, then to mix in.

Some of my fav tones come from using the fx loops of both the 104z delay and 108.

Also look at the moog manuals. The CP has a number of suggestions to try.

Continuing the all PDX theme.

New I haven't had a band setting that called for effects for a while. Just started playing with a funk/electronica band. Great players, cool grooves. And this board really handles everything I need.

Board for my atmospheric blackened death-doom project:
X7, Carcosa, and Sentry in loop B of the Switchblade. X7 always on, and stacked with the Carcosa for disgustingly heavy chainsaw sounds, mainly intros and slow parts.
Metalhead, Flashback, and Afterneath in loop A. Metalhead in parallel and always on with the X7, except when the Flashback and Afterneath are on.
Worst Bass Tuner In The World, aka TC Polytune at the front, and Schalltechnik VONG H+LPF at the end.

All powered by a Cioks DC7.

Looking to ditch the tuner for something that will actually go down to A standard on bass, preferably the same size.

Still not entirely sold on the Afterneath. It's really nice, but more often than not I favour the Flashback, I guess I'm just not creative enough to use it to its full potential. Any recommendations for a similar ambient delay/reverb type thing? Also, it seems like I'm the only guy on TB who absolutely cannot stand top-jacks.

The H+LPF is okay, if a little big. Wouldn't mind swapping it out for a dedicated cabsim pedal though.

The tuner, X7, Sentry, filter, and DC7 all go on my Nano board for my melo/prog-ish death metal main band Emesis

I would recommend the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Dark Star. It has a lot of overlap with the Afterneath, but offers a unique take on the ambience (with a freeze feature and bit-crushed reverb). Also, it has side jacks!

Thanks! The Dark Star has been on my radar more than once, along with a bunch of other OBNE pedals. Also looking at the Walrus ARP-87, Boss Tera Echo, or just keep it simple with another Flashback

If you end up grabbing a Tera Echo, let me know what you think. That pedal has fascinated me for some time. Also, link me to your project! Atmospheric blackened death-doom hits a lot of the right buttons for me today.
