What voodoo is this? Antenna cable extenders? Where do I acquire such things?I don't often post in this thread, but with a major shuffle of stuff I thought I might change that.
Main analog board.
Effectrode LA-1A off, TLC back on, Fuzzistor added, searching for synthy sounds. This pains me, but I've had a couple of near misses with punters with the LA-1A, and I can't take the stress! the THDI/LA-1A combo is one I really love. LA-1A going to a clean tone/IEM board rather than my main gigging board that I take when I don't know what I'm in for. DC7 underneath, and running extender cables for the G50 to get the antennae out the way. Cave passive pedals passive variable hi pass filer underneath. Homemade board that fits a mono case. Sometimes running the BSW, but also the spark booster.
Mini board hasn't changed much, if any
Remnants of my old main board. Now set up to run with my Bergantino Super Pre, and G50. 2 vacant power outputs on Cioks 4 are to run power to the SP and G50
No one wants to buy my Linden in Australia, and I'm not giving it away. Clean tone/IEM board. Unused Rockboard with Linden, LA-1A, room to drop the G50 on, and Orchid Micro DI.

D Addario tuner and G50 off, Spark booster and Poly tune on. I often run this board into a Bergantino IP310, so the THDI is my amp essentially. Having the Spark is ideal for a 2nd eq setting for slap or a 2nd bass. Might be time to upgrade to a GLXD16+ after lusting after one for ages. I think the receiver will just fit.
On another topic - if I was to upgrade to a newer synth pedal considering the room I have, what would recommendations be from everyone? Love the BSW tones, but I'm sure there is more out there these days.
FYI. signal chain is Tuner - SB - HPF (under board) - BSW thru to TLC right to left - Fuzz - Chorus - THDI

The Source Audio C4 Synth has the same footprint as the BSW and covers a lot of ground, it can save 6 patches for easy recall and 128 if you use a midi controller. It is in essence a 4 voice semi modular synth that includes a sequencer. You can access all the available parameters as well as sample and share sounds from the Neuro Cloud on your phone or computer, there are 1000+ sounds in the Neuro Cloud from other creative users. The SA Spectrum is like a BSW on steroids if you want something simpler but can still get legit synth tones.
The other synth pedal in that footprint is the Boss SY1 that has several hundred preset sounds, but the user experience is challenging to access all the potential sounds.

I can see Rocksolid calling Aguilar. Aguilar says, which pedal do you want. Rocksolid says, yes!
Finally bought isolated power brick - Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS6!
Works great and since it's quite slim the tuner can be on top of it!
I have one more power slot for BDDI when I don't play with my amp or maybe I'll start using DL4 again, we'll see... I can't believe how quiet everything is now!

It won't be a cost-effective option, but I have been absolutely over the moon with the Iron Ether FMeron. It doesn't do the exact same stuff as a BSW, but it is a total bundle of synthy joy, and super versatile. Would play very well with the rest of the goodies on that board!

@bassbrad nailed it already. Nothing else on the market comes close to the C4 in terms of size, features, price, and availability. It's a killer synth pedal, and you can make it as simple or complicated as you like.
How do you like the Meatbox? I have one too and was told to be careful since some settings can damage speakers.
I don't have it on any board yet.
I love it! It certainly CAN damage the speakers, but if you use it with caution your equipment/PA will be safe.
I played it on 2 gigs so far (in a small club and in a mid-large sized venue) with these settings:
OCTAVE and OUTPUT on 70%
SUB and LOW on 90%
I like having 2 octave pedals - one for high up in the neck (Octoplus) and one for everything except that (Meatbox)!
Looked at a few yT reviews on this, but once I saw the user inteface via PC my eyes rolled back in my head. I'll have a look again and take a deeper dive.

I never set out to be an Aguilar pedal fanboy. They just work and sound great at gigs. They might be a little vanilla compared to other pedals, but they get it done.
No slight of the gear, Aguilar makes good stuff.
