PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

Newest addition...a Drop. The last pedal I thought I would need tbh.
I imagine that it does what I think it does - lol. I'm guessing w/ the added benefit that it doesn't just do octaves and you can step it down in half/whole steps?? I could see the use in that. Does it track well?
I need a bigger board so that my VP Jr doesn't have to live on the floor, haha. Beyond that, I'm really enjoying this setup. The Crooked Axis is an absolutely killer pedal, can't believe I'd never heard anyone talk about these before. I'll have to make a thread with some audio samples. I still haven't decided if it's my low-gain drive or my highest gain destructo-fuzz, it does a killer job of both.
I'm enjoying the KGB dist too, but for space reasons I'm planning to replace it with a Blue Colander Tremond in the nearish future. It's a great smooth Rat sound, but just so big.
It seems to track really well. Half step down is what I use it for. Two steps down on the open low B still sounded great on a quick test... didn't try below that, didn't care for the octave settings.
If you're not changing knobs on the red box and black box (i.e just switching them on/off), you can mount them under and just put a looper on. That will allow room to put the VP Jr. on the board. It appears that you really only need one of those (red box or the black) mounted under to have room.

@1OHM is right; especially if you replace the Valco with the Tremond, you'll have lots of space for the VP Jr. You've just gotta tidy up the cabling/wiring a bit, snug up the tuner to the Dungeon Master, and turn the Accountant to the 'normal' orientation. Should be more than enough space!
Just gotta beware of that perpendicular crosstalk between the Beholder and the Middle Manager.
That's definitely one idea, and I like the idea that it would somewhat protect the knobs from accidental bumps. But in reality, I'm gonna expand the board soon anyway so I'll need to get something with a larger footprint. Pedalboard plans for the year include:
- VFE Klein bottle (which has sat in the unbuilt desk drawer of shame for two years, haha)
- dedicated low gain, always-on overdrive
- delay and/or reverb (Maybe a DBA Rooms and a Fairfield Meet Maude?)
- patchbay for easy re-ordering, and inserting my Space Echo. Maybe one of those DF Audio bays?
I found my new favorite midi controller, the Graviton by Luminite FX. Going to sell the Airstep. Nothing wrong with the Airstep really, I just needed the screen because I'm getting older and resent using my phone for things like this.
I have been quite tempted to get a Graviton to control my H9 and my old Boss SE-70 from one location. What are your impressions thus far?

I've had it one day, but I really appreciate the giant clear touch screen and ease of use. It took me about a minute to figure out the workflow and I was off making my, granted fairly simple comparatively with my two midi capable pedals, presets. It can do quite a lot more than I will likely need but it's just so easy to use with no PC and no phone. It came down to the this or the morningstar mc6pro, feature wise they seemed sort of similar overall, a little give and take either way, but the screen and workflow sold me on the Graviton. I do like that if I want more presets at the press of a footswitch they offer wired and wireless options to add on as well.
Nothing shy about this one either. FRAUD. LOL.

Haha! Nothing shy, indeed. Some of those on each board are home built and a couple are from BYOC kits.
Board update on the IE/Broughton board: OFF: Synth voice,Maestro, Locust star. ON: Subsonic, broughton PLL, and More in the beautiful "Prismatic cosmos" Finish. I always wanted to put a tube pedal on this board And the SB more is a good addition.
