hello sir! yes i actually use it either one or the other not simultaneously because theres overlapping if both are used simultaneously. although im sure there should be some settings that might take care of the overlapping i just have yet to find. i do love preamp stacking thou and so aside from the etdi (bottom) always on, sometimes the fliptop is engaged together with the messenger to add some fat bottom on it. with the s1 not too much. i usually use the messnger for a more aggressive approach like slapping and the neve (s1) i find i use it more on traditional and cleaner approach.
also here is the signal chain: : Tuner-S1-Apex-Subsonic-clam-PLL-Dreamcrusher-Sentinel-Fliptop-Messenger-Fantasm-Resound-ETDI underneath was rewired and a Cioks DC7 was added. cheers!

Changed things around a bit.
Powering Stomp with small power supply, everything else powered from power bank.
Omnicab put back on set flat at end of chain? Hoping to utilize the DI and use HPF and LPF

to dial in different rooms.
Likely getting rid of the AO as I found a really nice DG capture for the ToneX.

Switched some stuff around, and replaced my Latent Lemon Brassmaster with a Moose Eletronics Nomad (Foxx Tone Machine clone). The brassmaster is awesome, but a bit too much for my liking. The Nomad is a bit easier to tame, but can still get quite nasty.

I haven't posted a board in forever, but I recently put this together and am absolutely loving it.

I'll upgrade the EHX expression at some point. I liked the idea of using it for both the Xerograph and the Randy's Revenge, but it isn't working well with the Fairfield and the treadle sweep is too shallow for me.

It's been a while too----and my humble board has become even more humble. The SCR-DI is a stand alone box now...it doesn't NEED to be on a board. And my Line6 G10S now sits on another little board alongside my IEM Tx...kinda makes more sense ---- usually those two tools are used together.

So now, a slightly gutted/modified Boss BCB30 (that was kicking around from a previous iteration and now essentially worthless to anyone else) now holds that little smattering of things I actually use regularly. All analogue, simple, low current boxes daisy-chained from a 500mA adaptor.

That's better, and more "me".

Squeezed a bit more onto my board. Added a Becos CompIQ Mini Pro Mk2 in loop one of the H90, as well as a triple foot controller and an OBNE Expression Ramper. There's also a Rolls PM50se mounted underneath.

2024 board. After trying out several wahs, I picked up a Morley Dual Bass Wah that was basically old-new stock. Nails the sound and tone I'm looking for in a wah. Hoping this board lasts a good bit.

Fifth Gear is barely there, just adding a little bit of magic in the low mids and having most of my other dirt run into it kind of smooths everything else out.

MBD has a lot of clarity and top end presence that other drives don't really achieve. I use this one for a pretty decent amount of drive/distortion.

Blumes is somewhere between the clarity of the MBD and the disgusting Rattiness of the Blower Box Deluxe. With the three modes, it's got three pretty distinct sounds so I need more time to figure out the sweet spot. It's the only OD/distortion in my collection (FG doesn't really count, and the Narwhal is a fuzz) without a clean blend which also gives it a different flavor.

for $99, I think everyone should at least try out the Blumes. It's capable of a lot and can probably work for most players in some way.

I'd always been thinking on buying the 5th Gear for my guitar and I'm surprised it can work on bass.
