Well now - that was fast!! That board is bonkers! I peeped your IG (hope you didn't mind)... you got some pretty cool toys sir!! Thanks for sharing sounds (I think more people should share some sounds). Also - thank you for your service (former TACP here, 8 years). Since you obliged I will share some sounds as well.

( )

Current state... this is my audition/R&D board... once I get it dialed I'll move the pedals to a more right-sized board.

This is what the "final form" will be. Decided to simplify things w/ adding Collider (this replaces the Fathom, but also added a much-needed delay). The Spectrum replaces 2 pedals... the Micro Pog and the MXR Envelope filter. Added the Pirate MIDI to control the Source Audio pedals as well as the Infinity when/if needed. I've heard that the SA C4 can do every sound that the Spectrum can, but the Spectrum obv can't do every sound that the C4 can. So C4 might replace the Spectrum in the future... with some crafy pre-sets I could get the best of both worlds and add "unlimited" sounds from the C4 synth when needed. I'd call this board done at that point and then drink 2 or 9 beers. Then the start to build a mini-board (already in progress).

Thank you for the kinds remarks. Your board sounds great as well. very versatile. the aetos looper sure looks luke a fun pedal to be had. The collider sounds fantastic and yes the C4 would be an awesome addition to that hreat board. also count me in on the 2-9 beers sir cheers

There is a pedalboard there?
All I see is a delicious donut.

After stepping away from live work/session work about 8 years ago, I've finally come back to playing, and after a year again of building the pedalboard I've always wanted, it's finally finished. The only real thing to do now is a whole lot of MIDI programming, but I've come to love this board, and the ability to make any sound that comes into my head, then loop it and mangle that loop and so on for much longer than my wife would care to hear. All held on a Tera 42, powered by CIOKs

Sold some, added some... I'm trying really hard to keep it to two boards, but the Source Audio board is still lurking outside of the frame and I don't know if I can part with it, even if I never use it. There's something about the pursuit of a collection that makes it near impossible for me to let go of. However, these two make me very, very happy, as does my command center.

^ I'd like deets on the SA board. My new "big" (small compared to some of you nerds' stuff) board is quickly starting to look like a SA demo board. I'm particulary interested in MIDI implimentations and how you guys are getting it done. I'm thinking Pirate 4 to control my (Spectrum / EQ2 / Collider / DG Infinity) but I don't want to re-invent the wheel when lots of people have figured things out already.

On another front... you look like you're ready for war. I have been trying a minimalist lifestyle the last coupla years ( I'm failing horribly at this with cars, cameras, and guns ) and HOPEFULLY I can maintain minimalism with pedals/pedalboards/basses. But having fallen back in love w/ the bass again (been playing since 1989) that might not be possible. When the gf sighs at prices/gear I'ma just show her some of you guys' sh*t and say "SEE?? @davedamage AND @AElfes are the ones w/ the problems babe - back off!" - LOL

Jesus Bartholomew Christ. Badass. I'd love to hear about your midi methodology and what that'll look like.

MIDI chain goes from the Pirate MIDI Bridge 4 (which I absolutely love) - Pitchfactor - H9 - Volante - MIDI Box 4 (splitting to the Ottobit, Gen Loss, Mood Mk II, and RC-5) - Source Audio C4.

The main goal was MIDI Clock for all, then allowing specific control on each pedal. The extra footswitches on the H9 and Pitchfactor let me change each presets on each one of them. The main things I used MIDI for are C4 preset changes, tap tempo for the whole monstrosity, turning different parts of the Ottobit on/off and modulating the filter, controlling the RC-5 with extra functions, and changing specific settings on the Chase Bliss things.

I don't really use MIDI to set up a specific sound across the whole board, but if I went back to live playing I could see the value in setting that up. I don't see myself playing live with this board though. My back may just give out from the schlep!

This is the most recent picture I have, but it has been downsized since then. It's all only SA pedals now with the exception of a tuner and thr Messenger Jr. The C4 and Dual exp get appropriated for the QC board most times.

My monolith of a board was built over a looong time with a tonne of used deals fuelling it. Some things like the Pico Deep Freeze are (IMO) priced to the point of rip off, so eBay alerts and Reverb surfing has basically become another hobby!
