How are you finding the nm2?

I like it. I started with using it just in a couple songs to the point, that the channel 1 is now almost always on, and the channel two is on in the more rough songs. Its not that beautiful distortion on its own, but with the band its perfect. And does make it easier for me to hear my playing from under the guitar and keys. I step it of only for the odd ballad we play.

Update: picked up a Boss OC-2 with synth mod and some lovely knobs:

So, it has replaced my Onerr NO-1 clone on the board:

I would really love to fit in the Onerr NO-1 as a "clean" octave and just switch between the NO-1 as a "direct level at noon, OCT-1 at 3" and the OC-2 as a purely synthy cranked OCT-1 but I just can't fit it in quite yet.

The synthmod OC-2 into the Bass Fuzz into the EP-2's slow phaser totally nails the John Davis/Nerve tone I was looking for! I bet it's going to get even better when I replace the Sitori Sonics with a Copilot FX Orbit.

Yes, it can still do regular OC2 octaves but the volume is significantly less than my Onerr NO-1 (Brazilian OC-2 clone) - not sure if that is a byproduct of the synth mod or if that is inherent in OC-2's. I've never played a "true" OC-2, only OC-3's, but the non-synth OC-2 tone is fantastic - believe me, I'm a convert.

The volume discrepency is less of an issue for me because I use the LS-2 to mix all of my effects for unity volume, but I would like a way to switch between my Onerr & OC-2. Thinking about running the two octave pedals in the two LS-2 channels and just have to deal with my fuzz/modulation manually.

The QF2 is awesome!! Super versatile but does have a distinct voice. Just a cool sounding pedal all around.

Here's an update. I rearranged, some how I ended up with a bunch of cables left over? I don't have a clue how that happened considering I used all of them on my last pedalboard arrangement, I did get rid of a few pedals but I have like 15 cables left over. I'm leaving a space for my animato clone and either the beta drive or the accountant compressor..

Oh man it's beautiful, it really sounds so good. Really lush and not muddy at all IMO. It can't take super hot input but I don't have that issue because I play passive bass and my drives aren't hot. I wish it had modulation on the delay or reverb but I play the polytope through it so that's covered. Other than that it's really amazing, not tap tempo but if you just want some pretty depth it's top IMO.

I want it mostly for the delay, but the blending could be fun now and then.

That and a Grand Orbiter would replace my M5 nicely.

Not really, plenty of space left. If I wanted to get anal about it I could always stack them on each other but the fact that it's just a lot of small modular pieces actually makes it really convenience for efficient space utilization.

Yeah, they are really small individually and you're not lacking for space now, so I'm sure if you added more main pedals you could do some interesting Tetris in the future. As is, though, it seems like they add up to maybe a pedal or two worth of space, that's all I meant.
