PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

It's been a while. The boards may be used separately or together. The signal chains goes:

Tuner-> Morley PWB-> BlueBeard-> (Cusak Screamer-> Sonic Death Ray-> MF104M)-> ditto-> Meatsmoke.

The morley was missing the rubber pad when I got it, so I replaced it with the traction pad for a surf board. It feels fantastic!

Always enjoy seeing your board Jordan. Two things, how did you install the lights and what'd you use and what's the pedal just out of frame underneath the EHX muff? And is your muff modded or stock? They was 4 things ;)

Thanks man!

I used RGB 5050 led strips with adhesive backing - Got 'em off ebay. They came with an IR controller, receiver and power pack. Cost me about $30. Just stuck the strips under the board and wired them together.

The pedal out of frame is a Badger Schism - Parallel blending just works for me. Signal Chain: Pitchblack > Outlaw > Rat Tail > B3K > Schism (Loop 1: Animato | Loop 2: OC2 > Big Muff) > Enabler.

The Muff is stock, but technically modded. I redid the wiring (the original stuff is terrible), replaced the jacks, swapped out the pots (stock values) and threw a new footswitch in.

I knew you did something to the muff. You're just too good of a builder to have let it stand stock.

I have noticed a tiny, and I mean tiny little bit of high frequency roll off through my board but I don't care because I play bass not treble. I'm not even sure if what I'm hearing is actually happening or I just think it is.

I negate that completely with strategically placed buffering and an SFX Micro EQ very early in the chain. It's always on and it is set completely flat (flat eq, flat volume). Basically makes the signal strong enough to make it through the board in one piece.

I've got a Thumpinator on the way, but was thinking of checking out the Empress buffer or the +. I was really interested in the plus to have a boost also. Have any of you guys used either of the Empress buffers? I was thinking of putting the Thumpinator right before my Enabler and the Empress at the front of my chain.

I think I made a mistake buying the PT Mini. Why oh why not a Junior. Or the PT II. My bands guitar player felt sorry for me, and said he could possibly sell me something bigger. In the mean time I came up with a secondary board, and actually I could also use them like that, both boards can be used separately, or together. Both end with a relatively good DI.
