Update to version 6. Added the VT bass for more tone shaping and shuffled the tuner to the bottom row. Debating swapping the Countryman DI for a Radial JDI.

I'll be adding the new MXR Bass Chorus down the line when I have some cash. It's been on the road for a year and a half and no problems at all!

Cool, XP right, RP are the junky ones. I used to have the XP reverberator, very cool effect. Hadn't heard of the 1000 will check it out.

That is an XP1000, which is the old Digitech xp100, 200, 300 and 400 all in one box. I pretty much only use the whammy (100) and space station (300) modes, since the supernatural handles all of my verb and the mobius is all the modulation I could ever want

Yeah, that's the going rate for an XP1000, which is actually a good deal if you consider than finding an actual XP300 Space Station will usually cost at least 100 bucks more than that.

The Supernatural is everything I ever wanted in a reverb; deep, boomy, lush, and you can kill the dry signal and go 100% reverbed signal. I use it for extremely deep reverb sounds. I'm not looking for realistic room or classic spring sort of sound here, my music calls for really far-out, over-the-top effects.

Exactly my thoughts. While I've had individual pedals(empress phaser and tremolo, Iron Ether Frantabit, Polytope, and Xerograph dlx) that blow it away as far as pure sound and flexibility go. Where the Mobius shines is being one all-in-one unit. As long as you don't need all the crazy settings those other units have then the Mobius is great!!

I always felt like I was under using all those great pedals. With the Mobius I don't feel that way. With the Pre/Post settings, it is EXACTLY what I need.

Though I'm ditching the El Oso I think. I've aready moved it from my board, and I don't miss it yet, so...

I'm really coming to realize that the bass distortion I'm looking for will come from amp/eq/volume adjustments combined with heavy-drive, heavily-eq'd, and a touch of delay/reverb. I have the tools, just need to spend some hours experimenting...

But what with school, work, roller derby, photography, video games, sleep, etc... time slips...

Some recabling still to do and my custom Xerograph needs to sit in place of the Moog LPF when it's back, but aside from that this is what I'll be rocking for the months ahead...

You're only using 2 of the MP-201 CV channels for the filter. Any plans for the other 2 channels? MIDI to the pitchfactor?

When the Xero is back it'll take 3... It's designed to have its resonance controlled as well. The Moog oddly gets even noisier if it receives 3 inputs! The 4th used to control the Frequency on the Ring Mod, as I'm not using that now I'll use it for some ClusterFlux magic I'm sure

Yeah man - It's a 1 in, 3 out midi connector in a little compact metal box built like a tank. I found it on ebay from a guy in Oz that makes them... Touchprone is the 'company' name.

I take a midi clock from the metronome that we play to and it provides the tempo clock to the LFO section of my Moog MP-201, the rate of the ClusterFlux and to the Pitchfactor as well. I don't use any Control messages, just clock.

You know you can fit a couple more pedals in there (one in each row) - I see a Ditto Looper or maybe one of those Mooer pedals in your future.
