Double Bass Question about cleaning

Hello everyone, I'm sorry if I'm doing something wrong, considering that this is my first post.

I recently bought a new bass, and I am quite pleased with its tonal qualities, setup, etc. but there is one small problem.

I looked inside the bass through the F-holes, I saw alot of weird black, almost bug-like debris. My question is bassically (pun intended) how would one go about removing debris inside the bass. Thank you for your time.

Probably not. Often times that stuff is in there from fitting the endpin. D

Turn the bass upside down and shake it around until the junk falls out the F-holes. Or, attach a tube of some kind to a vacuum cleaner & suck it out.

Go to your automotive store and buy a few feet of vinyl tubing, something around 5/8" or so. The clear stuff, so you can spot any clogs inside. Duct tape that to the end of your vacuum hose and stick it in through the F hole. Bingo.
