Question about Malekko B:assmaster

I just received 3 of your pedals, Malekko: two (one of each) ecco 300s and one dark ecco 600. So far I've only tried the 600, but it's excellent. I especially dig the biamp-feature! Good show, old boy.
BTW, when will the Erectus be ready? Do you have any other FX-ideas brewing, like a overdrive/flanger/compressor/ringmod?

Hi there!
Is the 'bass' volume supposed to be toally clean?

I ask this, because when I turn down the ass volume on my B:assmaster, the tone is still slightly overdriven, so a little low-end is lost. It's almost clean, but not completely...

Or are all units like this and is this how it's supposed to work?

Thanks!

Of course I bought it for the fuzz, but also for the ability to blend in the clean signal. But it turns out that's missing a little low-end because of the slight overdrive...

IIRC, it's supposed to be like that on both volume knobs. Neither can go to 0% or 100% wet/dry. The original Brassmaster is like that, too.

The Prescription Electronics Depth Charge - which is also somewhat based on an old Brassmaster, IIRC - has the same "issue" with its Blend knob; you can't get a purely clean or 100% fuzzy signal.

It's not a bug - it's a feature. :D
