Question about Mesa PH 210

Hi y’all. So, I was looking for some info about a Mesa Boogie Powerhouse 210 cab. 600 watts @ 8 ohms. Most of them have speak on connections. But the one I’m looking at has only 1/4”.

Can someone please let me know which model this is? Thanks.

Yeah, it's a standard Powerhouse. I just don't know why this one has 1/4". The ones I saw online has speak on.

Some of the very early ones may have had only 1/4” jacks.

Note that replacement parts are not necessarily available for the earlier cabinets. Buyer beware.

My mid to late 2000's PH 210 had the "Player Control Network" to control the tweeter crossover and had both 1/4" and Speakon. I really enjoyed that cabinet.

I just asked the seller. He said it does have a tweeter.

I still have my OG Powerhouse 4x10, which only has 1/4" jacks. It's a great cab that served me well for many years, but I am so much happier with the Subway cabs that replaced it.

I believe mine was made in 2000. I bought it used in 2002.

I just asked the seller. He said it does have a tweeter.

Has to be really really early, I don’t recall seeing them except in the tweeter less versions.

That looks like a cross between a very early Powerhouse (standard) and Powerhouse (traditional), there were a few rear ported ones built but it's unclear it these were only the traditional without a tweeter but were also sealed.

I wonder if it was a custom or one-off. It's been too long for any of us to really remember (and it was from before my time).

None of the parts (except the tweeter I think) are still available.

They are 25-30 year old speakers, so unless it’s awfully cheap I would be wary.

How old is too old for a cab?

I'm just getting back into amp and cabs. I was using a powered PA. I was primarily an upright bassist.
