Question about Precision pickups

Hi guys i just bought a P bass and i was wondering if everyones pickups arent totally straight. The pickup nearest to the neck seems straight but then the one closest to the bridge kinda is leaning one way. I'm not sure how to explain it sorry. It's like the one nearest the neck is like this - and the one neares the bridge is like this / obviously not to that degree but it goes in that direction. I probably sound like a dufus sorry, but any help is much appreciated.

is it "leaning" from neck to bridge or from back to front (making it closer to the string on one end and farther on the other)? if its the second one then thats totally normal and adjustable. this is to get proper balance from each string (volume wise).

i bought it new its a 2009 american p bass from musicians friends.com . I already had to send one bass back because of a dent the size of a half dollar and that took two weeks for it to get back to me so i really hope i don't need to send it back.

Yeah but he is talking about the pickup leaning toward the headstock or bridge not the way you are describing. I have not had this happen on any of my Fenders but 3 of my Skyline Glaubs came that way. If it bothers you messing with the screw can usually fix it.
