Question for Carvin BX600/BX1200 Owners

I am one of those that preordered the new Carvin BX500 head and am having a custom case made for it. I prefer to hit the ground running with the case rather than wait and deal with laptop bags, etc. I have the measurements from the catalog and the Carvin rep said to add 1/2" to accommodate the knobs. Before I pull the final trigger on the order, I wanted to get a second opinion.

Could one of the many happy BX600/BX1200 owners send me a measurement of their knobs projecting from the faceplate? It looks like the same stuff to me.
