Question on an SX bass

Got a reply back only 9 hours after I sent an email.. yikes, the customer service at rondo music ROCKS

I have one left - you can order by going to www.rondomusic.com - click on
"ebay form" then enter:

Item number: 1
Item - SX SPJ-62 Vwhite $119.95
$24 shipping.
(note it comes with a white pickguard)

Kurt

They'll be sure to have my business in the future!

I have an SPJ-62 in vintage white with the black pickguard, and I love the way it looks.

Nevermind the player... I'm pretty damn ugly.. The vintage-ness of the white is fairly accurate in this picture.

Sidenote - the bridge required boring out just by moving up to 110-55 Power Slinky roundwounds....

When I ordered mine, that's they way they came. At the time I found Rondo, the choices were black, sunburst, and vintage white, all with black pickguards. I've also seen them before in navy blue with black pickguards.

Although when I ordered mine I think that Kurt might have had to pull a floor model, because by the time I got around to actually placing the order, black on black was the only choice. I called up there and asked if there was any way to get vintage white, and he said he'd check... a couple days later she came.

Only mod I've done was enlarging the bridge opening for my .110 E string

looks like im going to be spray painting the white pick guard, i'll let ya guys know how it turns out.. i plan to..

1. Prime it
2. thin coat of black spray paint
3. another thin coat
4. some kind of sealer on top

Should take a few days

hey thump, would you be able to snap a photo before you alter the pickguard? i was thinking i might like the white better and if it looks good i might just change mine.. but i'm curious to see before i do that.
