Question on in-ear monitors

Belt pack on my belt just behind my right hip with the IEM cord running under my shirt up my back to my head. During breaks I will pull my left IEM out to carry on conversations and such (I have 90% hearing loss in my right ear, so whether it stays in or out, I'm not hearing much on that side).
