I play a Genz Shuttle 12.0. Love love love it. I've been playing it through Markbass cabs but want to go to a one cab set up. Here are the two choices I am toying with:
1. A local dealer can sell me a Genz NeoX 212T for $699
2. I am a fan of Larry Hartke, used to play Hartke gear back in the day. Thinking about a 410 Hydrive.
I play bass in a four piece (one guitar, loud drummer). We play classic rock - how unique! I play Fender P-basses and a StingRay 4H, and occasionally my Ric. I want to hold the bottom end but be able to sneak my way in to the mix on the higher register notes. We generally play small venues, so I am not going through a PA 90% of the time, so I need my rig to do the work.
Of those two in the $700 range, what do you think? Or is there a better option for me at $700?
Love your opinions. Thanks.
